Google : Hello Morse

Making communication more accessible for millions with Morse code.

Ever since Morse code opened up developer Tania Finlayson’s world, she’s been working to make it accessible for everyone. We collaborated with Tania and her partner Ken to integrate Morse code into the Android keyboard so that anyone can access this powerful communication tool easily and cheaply.

After integrating Morse code into the Android system, we created a game to help people learn Morse code quickly and easily so that it more people could start using this valuable tool.

We paired developers with kids in a 48-hour Morse code game jam hosted by Adaptive Design, an organization that builds custom adaptations for children with disabilities.
